Note from Nurse Abby: Jefferson West School District will provide Dental Screenings to all students enrolled, unless their parent/guardian has notified the school, to opt their child(ren) out of the dental screening. Please send a signed note or email Nurse Abby, abby.martin@usd340.org by September 14th, if you want your student opted out of the screening.
Her Hike: Forms were sent out this past week to all 3rd and 4th grade girls. Please have them turned in no later than September 6th to participate.
All School Carnival: September 16th is the big day!! Booster Club is asking for cake and baked goods donations from ALL grades for the cake walk. (Store bought items ONLY. ie: Cakes, cupcakes, Little Debbie snacks, non-refrigerated pies, doughnuts, cookies, etc.) Donations can be dropped off at the school office anytime between now and September 15th or taken directly to the High School between 12pm-4pm on the day of the carnival.
Note from Booster Club: “Because the Carnival has been moved up to September this year and we're just getting into a routine, we are not asking parents/teachers to provide donations for classroom baskets for the silent auction. However, if anyone would like to donate a gift card, we will be putting together some gift card bundles for a silent auction. Suggestions: favorite restaurant, store, local business, family fun event, etc.”

We highly encourage you to install and sign in to enable communication with your student’s teacher.
