Illnesses:  As Spring is approaching, we hope that the majority of illnesses are behind us. Unfortunately, we are seeing an increase in positive flu cases and strep throat, so we would like to remind parents that according to the student/parent handbook under “Student Health” (2.a) states any K-8 student who has a fever of 100.00 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, who has vomited, has diarrhea, or who has any other communicable disease may not remain in school. A parent/guardian will be called to pick up the student from school as soon as possible. (2.b) states students must be fever free, without the use of fever reducing medication, for 24 hours before returning to school.

(Reminder: the Tylenol and Ibuprofen at school is not administered for symptoms of illness)
