----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spring Break Early Dismissal: Parents, please be sure to call the school by 9:00 A.M. with any transportation changes. Lunches happen quickly, and then out the door they go, which unfortunately leaves very little time to relay messages to them. Please be vigilant!
Yearbooks: It’s that time of year! Yearbook orders are due by March 24th. You can either send the envelope back to school with cash or a check, or order online at inter-state.com/order using code: 82127W.
Illnesses: As Spring is approaching, we hope that the majority of illnesses are behind us. Unfortunately, we are seeing an increase in positive flu cases and strep throat, so we would like to remind parents that according to the student/parent handbook under “Student Health” (2.a) states any K-8 student who has a fever of 100.00 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, who has vomited, has diarrhea, or who has any other communicable disease may not remain in school. A parent/guardian will be called to pick up the student from school as soon as possible. (2.b) states students must be fever free, without the use of fever reducing medication, for 24 hours before returning to school. (Reminder: the Tylenol and Ibuprofen at school is not administered for symptoms of illness)
Jefferson West Resources: Tiger families, if there has been an employment change in your household, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We offer many resources, including, but not limited to clothes, food, hygiene products, and free/reduced meal options. Help us help you!
