JWES Paras Needed: Contact Keystone at 785-876-2214 or visit www.keystonelearning.org. Starting pay is $14.00 (pay increases with relevant education and/or experience). Health insurance, PTO, and KPERS offered!

Sprinkles and Frosting: Thank you all for your donations so far! For Winter Read Night on December 3rd, we have participants decorate sugar cookies and we are still in need of more sprinkles and frosting. You can send your donations with your students or drop off at the elementary school office.

Cookie Dough Update: Eileen's cookie dough will be available for pickup on Friday, November 15th from 2pm - 6pm at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden.  Cookie dough sellers are responsible for picking up their cookie dough and delivering to those who purchased.  We do not have freezer space to store the cookie dough, so it is very important that all dough is picked up during this time. Tigers did great! You earned $10,715 with a percentage to benefit the Tiger’s Closet. That is an increase of over $500 from last year! Way to go, guys!

Note from the Nurses: Pneumonia, Impetigo, and Strep infections have been reported in our schools. We truly appreciate those that have reached out to let us know what their child has been ill with. When you do, we can take additional measures to stop the spread, as well as provide better support for your child’s return from illness related absence. One of the many benefits of being part of a small rural community is the concern we have for our neighbor, classmate, and teammate. Covering your cough and washing your hands are two simple but important things our kids can do. We are cleaning and disinfecting more frequently. If you completed the form at enrollment for your child to have Tylenol and/or ibuprofen, this cannot be given for illness. Keep your child home if they are ill. A doctor’s note may be requested for your child’s return, if your child returns with symptoms.
