Read Across America Week – This year for Read Across America we will be focusing on books written by Peter Brown. We will have the honor of visiting with him on Thursday and students and teachers will be reading and enjoying his books throughout the week. Tuesday our focus book is Mr. Tiger Goes Wild and we are asking students to wear a tiger shirt to show our school tiger spirit. Thursday our focus book is The Curious Garden and we are asking students to bring a healthy snack to eat and share with the class. Think of things grown in a garden. The other days we will focus on other books but our activities will be here at school. We are very excited to celebrate so many great books!
Kindergarten Round-Up – Please call the JWES office if your child is turning FIVE on or before August 31, 2025. Your name will then be placed on the list to receive information on how to sign up for an appointment. If you happen to know a 5-year-old, please be sure to pass this information on to their parents. Thank you for your help!
Yearbooks: It is that time, Tigers! Yearbook orders are due by Friday, March 14, 2025. Please visit inter-state.com/order, and use order code 91125X to order yours!
Classroom Snacks: All treats brought to school for ANY reason must to be store bought and remain prepackaged. Please do not open the packages to decorate. Thank you for keeping our students safe from allergens!
