INFO FROM MRS. BEVITT: You still have time to place an order with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. Visit https://arttoremember.com/school/TUWVU9 and search for your child’s name or enter the student code found on your student's personalized order form. All orders will be placed online this year and the order deadline is March 28, 2022. If you do not have access to place an online order, I will be available in the JWES Art room on Thursday, March 24, from 3:30-5:30 to allow you to place orders from a school computer. Country Store is in need of donations of larger items such as craft kits, art supplies or kits, basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, baseball gloves, board games, larger dolls and doll items (such as American Girl or similar accessories), roller blades, skateboards, larger trucks/cars, remote control vehicles, jewelry boxes, other ideas that we could price at a higher ticket amount. Small items are ALWAYS accepted also – if you have toys or items your kids no longer play with – please donate to Country Store – it might be another child’s treasure! Items can be brought to the Elementary School Office during school hours, or contact the school office and we can arrange for pick up.
The Jeff West District Wellness Committee: is hosting a free open gym from 8:30 AM-10:00 AM Saturday, March 26th at the Jeff West Middle School gym to kick off the weekend with movement. Come shoot around, walk, and meet some of our district wellness members.
Kindergarten Round-Up/Screening: This will take place on April 5th and 12th. This is for children who will be five years old on or before August 31, 2022. Please call the elementary school at 785-484-2455 if you have a child that will be in Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year. Sign-Up information for Roundup will be sent the middle of March.
Due to COVID: 1. We are not using the drinking fountains. Please send your child/children with a refillable water bottle. We have filling stations available.
2. Students will only be allowed to ride their assigned bus(s).
