Kindergarten Music Program: Doors will open at 6:40 at the elementary school. Students are to report to their classrooms. Just a friendly reminder that boys are to wear a nice shirt with nice pants/jeans. Girls are to wear a nice shirt with nice pants/jeans/skirt. Girls may also wear a dress. If it is a mini-skirt, please wear tights or leggings with it. Shoes should be a pair that they are comfortable in. No high heels or flip-flops, please. There will be NO daycare provided during the program. We will be streaming on Facebook live on the “Jeff West ES” page.
The Jeff West District Wellness Committee: is hosting a free open gym from 8:30 AM-10:00 AM Saturday, March 26th at the Jeff West Middle School gym to kick off the weekend with movement. Come shoot around, walk, and meet some of our district wellness members.
Family, Fun, and Fitness Night: On March 29th from 6:30 to 7:30 the Jeff West Wellness Committee is sponsoring a Family Fun and Fitness activity at Tiger Stadium. There will be a variety of activities for folks of all ages. Snacks and water will be available. Health-related information will also be available. We hope to see you at the stadium!!
JW All-School Carnival: Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the High School. Candy and toy donations from the Kindergarteners through 3rd grade, as well as 4th grade donations to the cakewalk are due by the week of March 28th. Homemade cakes and cupcakes can be brought in April 1st. We want to thank you again for your participation in making this carnival a success!
Kindergarten Round-Up/Screening: Please find the Sign-Up Genius on the district website www.usd340.org or visit us on Facebook at “Jefferson West Elementary” to sign up your future Kindergartener. If you have any questions, or need help, feel free to give the office a call at 785-484-2455.
Due to COVID: 1. We are not using the drinking fountains. Please send your child/children with a refillable water bottle. We have filling stations available.
2. Students will only be allowed to ride their assigned bus(s).
