All School Carnival: TOMORROW, Saturday April 2nd is the big day!! Ticket bands are $20, and for families with multiple kids, cost is $10 for each band after the purchase of the first. There will be a silent auction, games, DJ, food trucks, sno-cones, zip-line, and face painting. Come see some of your favorite teachers and principals, and show them how much you love them by flinging whip cream in their faces! We look forward to seeing you at the high school from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.!
Message from Mrs. Bevitt: It’s not too late! You can still order custom keepsakes featuring your child’s artwork. Go to ArtToRemember.com to place your order. The late order deadline is May 13th and all items must be shipped to a home address. Contact Mrs. Bevitt with any questions. Thank you for supporting our school!
Parent’s Day Out: Will take place on Saturday April 30th, 2022 from 12:30-3:30 pm. The JWHS CARE Team is providing afternoon care for children K-5th grade as a fundraiser. 100% of funds will be used for high school students in financial need to offset costs of college courses or extracurricular activity costs. Cost is $15/child and each additional child is $10 for the entire event. Max is 50 students, so this is on a first-come, first-served basis. See flyer sent home for additional information.
Field Trips: It has been a couple years since the littles were able to experience a field trip. Since we have quite a few coming up, here are some reminders and refreshers of field trip expectations. “Students need to be in good standing both academically and in their behavior to attend these trips. Parents pay for the admission costs of field trips. Students must ride district transportation to all field trips and school activities. Siblings or other children are not to attend as the trip is for the students at that grade level.”
Due to COVID: 1. We are not using the drinking fountains. Please send your child/children with a refillable water bottle. We have filling stations available.
2. Students will only be allowed to ride their assigned bus(s).
