AND ONCE AGAIN…to help keep the winning momentum going, Jefferson West Students, we want to PACK THE HOUSE! To help accomplish this, a group of community members is providing FREE admission to the game for Jefferson West students, K-12. TIGER ROAR!!!

Remember...Friday, March 1, is Late Start! Busses will run one hour later, classes begin at 9am. The Washburn Tech bus will run as usual.
Tuesday, March 5th, is Family Wellness Night. The location has been changed to the High School.
The High School group, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), has been working with our District Nurse, Abby Martin, and the Wellness Committee to bring a special presentation to our community. Students, parents, staff, and all community members are welcome to attend.

JWBA will have in-person registration next weekend on March 2nd, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jeff West Elementary School, during the Meriden/Ozawkie Chamber of Commerce Pancake Feed.

Jeff West families, we are excited for our 2024 One Book, One Neighborhood - "Wishtree". For our new families, this is an opportunity for every student K-4 to be reading the same book at the same time. We even have local businesses participating with us. If any community members would like a book, we do have extra. You can contact the librarian at jennifer.lloyd@usd340.org. Look for signs throughout the community and then talk about the book!

2nd Grade Grandparent's Day will take place on February 15th. We invite all 2nd-grade grandparents and grand-friends to visit their grandchildren at the elementary school at 1:30 P.M. You may start signing in at 1:15. We will not be able to dismiss your grandchild with you unless we have been given permission (per the slip sent home). We do ask that you only take the 2nd grader, as the other grandchildren will get their special time on another date. We also ask that you come back and join us at 7:00 P.M. for a wonderful concert that they have put on for you.
