The cast list for this year’s fall play, The Auditioners, has been released. The Auditioners is a short comedy play, written by Doug Rand. Congratulations to the following students – Sydnee Jackson, Theresa Hamilton, Hailey Morley-Guenther, Mary Cordray, Brett O’Neal, Liberty O’Neal, Trent Turner, Jesus’ Holguin, Kaylee Hammond, Caleb Ditch, and Irene Mason.
Synopsis: This audition was supposed to be simple: prepare one classical monologue and one contemporary monologue. But when this challenge is taken up by a beauty queen, a stand-up comic, a slam poet, an Esperanto-speaking mime, and a parade of other crazies -- most of whom insist on doing the same Lady Macbeth piece very badly -- what's a director to do?
The play will be performed at the High School on Saturday, November 16, at 7pm, with a matinee performance on Sunday, November 17, at 2pm.

🎃REMINDER FOR HALLOWEEN🎃: All treats that are brought to school, including Halloween treats, need to be store-bought and prepackaged. Please do not open the package to decorate the treats at home. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and for keeping our children safe from food allergies. The students will be in class learning until 1:45 p.m. Parents can start signing in at 1:30 p.m., but will not be able to go to the classroom until 1:45. Parties will start at 2:00. In addition, we are asking that all parents leave the school building at 2:30 so we can line the students up for the parade. The parade will begin at 2:40. The parade will go down Main Street to the Post Office, turn around, and come back to the elementary school. *The parade will be canceled if it is raining or the temperature is below 45 degrees* For the safety of all the children, following the parade, all students from kindergarten through 4th will reenter the building prior to any parents coming inside. Once the students are safely in their classrooms, we will open the front door and parents may go to their child’s classroom and sign them out. In accordance with school policies, we will follow the guidelines of NO replica of weapons: firearms, knives, swords, chains, clubs, pitchforks, or anything that could be used as a weapon. No rollerblades will be allowed. No pets of any kind will be allowed. 👻

Parents, our lost and found is MASSIVE and continues to grow rapidly. Please, be vigilant about marking your student's jackets, gloves, hats.... and apparently.....pants to ensure we get them back to the rightful owner.
We understand some of the items could be left after school from practice. Fortunately, our students are great about picking up the playground at recess and sending them into the lost and found heap. So, even if your child is at the middle or high school, we may have some of their belongings.
Thank you for your cooperation!
