Congratulations to our Designated State Scholars! Students must have completed the Kansas Honor Scholar Curriculum, and then the top 10% of all Kansas completers are designated as State Scholars based on ACT and GPA. HS Baseball Parents: The Regional Baseball Tournament games scheduled for today have been moved from Santa Fe Trail HS to SCABA (Bettis Sports Complex at Lake Shawnee).  3025 SE Croco Rd, Topeka, KS 66605 Game times will remain the same. Jeff West vs Royal Valley @ 2pm

HS Softball Parents: The Regional Softball games scheduled for today have been changed to play at the Washburn University Softball Field. Jeff West will play the 3rd game of the afternoon. My best guess is that game will be played around 3:30pm. 

Due to the forecasted weather for Sunday, JWHS graduation will be held at the high school in the gymnasium. Each graduate is welcome to invited 6 guests. Masks will be at each individual's discretion. For those unable to attend, graduation will be streamed live at the following link: https://fb.me/e/2h56Nf4Zr Thank you for your understanding & cooperation. We are thankful that we will be able to host this ceremony for our class of 2021.

Both the Jeff West Girls and Boys Track Teams placed 7th at the Big 7 League Track Meet on May 13th. Medalists at the track meet were: Mellany Roenne = 2nd - 300M Hurdles, 1st - Long Jump, 1st - Triple Jump Nova Chatham = 3rd - 3200M Logan Wheeler = 2nd - Pole Vault

Jefferson West Art students were rewarded for their creative efforts at the Big Seven League Art Show at Perry High School. Senior Haley Kimble’s photography “Tail Light” was selected for one of the two Best of Show Awards. Five students received Artistic Excellence medals: Best of Show Medalists – Haley Kimble Artistic Excellence Medalists – Cheyenne Simons Medalists – Natalie Cloud, Adelaide Justus, Milo Chatham
