Journalism students competed at state KSPA. 3 juniors, including Mellany Roenne, Phiefer Peck, & Rachel Cloud, placed at state. Mellany placed in three events: Photography, News Page Design, & Cutline Writing. Rachel placed in Advertising Design. Phiefer placed in News Writing.
Forensics competitors had a perfect showing at the state festival this weekend. Congratulations to both senior Jocelyn Hartley and freshman Natalie Meyer scored 1 ratings.

Due to the cold weather and wet conditions for this afternoon and evening, the JW HS Track Invitational has been postponed for today. The meet is rescheduled for Thursday, April 22nd, same time, same place.
