Our 2025 Jefferson West Girls Golf Regional Champs and State Qualifiers were celebrated with an impressive sendoff Saturday morning with all the love and support from our incredible Jefferson West community and school district!
At 10am, the girls rolled out in style escorted by Jason Boyer and Dana Boyer, our beloved Meriden Police Officers leading the way! A huge thank you to our generous community businesses and individuals that donated everything from swag bags, golf gear to all kinds of fun goodies that filled their send-off bags! Your kindness and encouragement mean so much to these young athletes.
These young ladies, family members, and coaches are deeply grateful to everyone who came out this morning to cheer them on, wave posters, and show love from the sidelines. It’s moments like this that remind us what community spirit truly looks like.
A heartfelt thank you to the Jefferson West School District, Superintendent Dr. Brad Neuenswander, High School Principal Rhonda Frakes, teachers, Blanche Wulfekoetter, Michelle Deiter, and more staff and board members for their continued support of this incredible program.
And a very special thank-you to Village Greens Golf Course for having a beautiful and challenging course to afford these young athletes the ability to practice year round on their game. And last but certainly not least, our coaches, Darin Lawhorn and Larry Deiter for years of dedication, leadership, and passion in building this golf program into what it is today.
Lady Tigers….TAKE STATE!
