HS JV Baseball Parents: Due to poor field conditions, the Jeff West vs Nemaha Central JV Baseball game scheduled for today has been postponed. A rescheduled date will be determined later. The baseball team will practice at Mammoth Sports after school.

Congratulations to our boys varsity golf team for finishing second out of eleven teams in Emporia April 1st. Lake Peet was top finisher at 5th place. Colby Farrant and Wyatt Barnett also medaled.

The JW Ag Ed program has decided to have their plant sale on a two different days. The sale dates will be Saturday, April 17 and 24 from 9-3. Varsity Baseball Parents: Below is information regarding the Jeff West @ Tonganoxie Varsity Baseball games scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the games will be played. Location: Leavenworth County Fairgrounds 405 W. 4th Street Tonganoxie, KS 66086 *The fairgrounds can be reached by traveling through Tonganoxie, KS on U.S. 24/40, to the K-16 intersection. Turn west on K-16 and go about a quarter mile to the fair entrance on the north side of the road. *There will be no attendance limitations. *We ask fans to practice social distancing and maintain 6’ of distance between family units. *Masks must be worn by spectators when they enter at the gate, use restroom facilities, stand in line at concessions, and any other time when they cannot socially distance themselves from other people and/or family units. Game Time: 4:30/6:15 Varsity Doubleheader Admission: Adults - $5 Students - $4 Seating: Bleacher seating is limited, fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Concessions: None

JV Baseball Parents: The Jeff West vs Tonganoxie JV Baseball game scheduled for today has been postponed due to the wet field conditions. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 27th, same time, same place. The Baseball team will practice tonight at Mammoth Sports tonight after school.

The vocal department sounded wonderful this evening. The last song was a special treat with all members of Lakeside and the Choirs singing together beautifully. The piece was composed by a JW alumni (Jake Narverud) and he was here as the accompanist this evening, Mr East directed, and Mrs Grose was featured on the French horn. Well done!
