NEW SCHOOL TEAM RECORD!! It was a great week for the Lady Tiger golfers! They finished the week by playing in a 4A and 5A tournament at Falcon Lakes Golf Course. The Tigers finished third and set a school record with 342. Addi Fechter led the Tigers with an 81, and Izzy Higgins and Dearah Garrett each carded 84s. All six Lady Tigers scored in the 80s and 90s. Tiger Roar!

Congratulations to Wyatt Heien and Mary Cordray for placing 4th at the Silver Lake Debate Invitational on Saturday, as well as Mary receiving a 3rd place Speaker Award, and Kay receiving a 3rd place Speaker Award. Congratulations also to Kay Heien and Celia Brody for placing 7th in the Novice Division – missing medals by 1 position. Keep up the great work!

Our FR/C-Team heads to Perry-Lecompton for Volleyball action at their tournament today. Matches begin at 9am. The tournament will be pool play. Pool play will be round-robin with rally scoring. Two sets per match. Scoring format of 25-25 no cap. Following pool play, teams will be seeded into brackets.
Admission: $5/Person (K-12) NO PASSES

Freshman QB Brixton Schwinn of Jefferson West received the Lukert Chiropractic & Wellness of Sabetha game ball honor from Jake and Boz for his performance on Friday night. Schwinn had 255 yards passing with four touchdowns in the Tigers statement win at Holton 27-17 on 10/3. TIGER ROAR!!

On Wednesday, our FFA chapter competed in the Northeast District Dairy Cattle Judging Contest. Our team was led By Sophie T. (our high individual) and the team finished 25th out of 43 teams.

It was a great experience to be on a working dairy and creamery. The cattle and facility were wonderful, thank you Sabetha for hosting today. Rokey Road Dairy is west of Sabetha on Highway 36. We even were able to sample some of their ice cream. The friendly farm cats were popular and we were sad that we couldn’t take some home.
There will be more opportunities to learn and compete in FFA. “Good job” goes out to this crew on stepping up and striving to be more. TIGER ROAR!!
