Meriden, Kansas - The Jeff West Tiger Family is proud to introduce one of our many great new family members, Mrs. Taylor Fechter! Mrs. Fechter is joining the Tiger Family as our new Middle School Assistant Basketball coach. Let's hear from Mrs. Fechter!
My name is Taylor Fechter, and I am the new middle school girls' assistant basketball coach! I went to nursing school at Washburn University & Washburn Tech, and I have been a school nurse in USD 501 since 2013. My two children attend Jeff West, my daughter Addison is at the middle school, and my son, Adler, is at the elementary school. My husband and I both graduated from Jeff West and have enjoyed raising our kids in this community. During our free time, my family and I love boating, golfing, playing basketball in the driveway with the kids, and many other outdoor activities. I grew up in the Seaman School district and transferred to Jeff West in my sophomore year of high school. I have enjoyed going to school here, loved playing sports, and felt I always had great coaches. I am excited to have the opportunity to be on the other side of the game to have an impact on these girls as a coach, and I look forward to a great season ahead of us! #LearnYourStripes #HeedTheRoar
