Homecoming is quickly approaching, and t-shirts are on sale for $10. Freshman Hannah Meyer created the art. T-shirts will be white with black ink and may be purchased from Mrs. Martin or Mrs. Sage until Wednesday, August 28. T-shirts will be distributed at the high school before Homecoming week.
Fall sports practices begin Monday, August 19. You MUST have a physical dated after May 1, and it MUST be turned into the office before attending any practice.

What does Booster Club do?
❤️We help with teacher requests for special activities in your kids' classes
🖤We coordinate food for parent teacher conferences for our amazing teachers and staff
❤️We coordinate the middle school game night and dance
🖤We coordinate the Barn Burner 
❤️We purchase items for the schools that are needed, but no extra money for (basketball goals, grill)

Special meeting of the Board of Education is Monday, August 19, 6:30pm at Jefferson West High School in the Commons. The meeting is regarding District facility needs and the consideration of a bond issue. All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend to be more informed.

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and you purchased a yearbook last year, you are eligible to attend the yearbook distribution on Friday, August 23. A snack, drink, and autograph book will be provided, but you need an admission ticket to attend. Those may be purchased from Mrs. Sage for $3 in rooms 123 and 129. The event will begin at 2pm with seniors getting released first. Students who do not attend may pick up their yearbook the following Monday after school.
Jefferson West schools start on Wednesday, August 14th. Please remember to watch for students walking or boarding school busses. Stop signs mean to come to a complete stop!

The newly formed Jefferson West Facilities Committee is evaluating the USD 340 facilities, including the Elementary School, Middle School, High School and Athletic Facilities. The committee is also considering improvements to the Ozawkie facility in order to transform it into an Early Childhood Center, set to open the 2025-2026 school year.
