TIGER ROAR!! Congratulations to Coach Joe Smith!!!!!! Basketball has been nothing but good to me! Graduated college with not a penny of student debt, been able to travel all over the country as well as the 🌎 having been to about 9 other countries. Made friends at every stop that have become like family to me, and none of that would have been possible had it not been for the illustrious White Station High School. The history, the leadership, the example of those before me and the expectations led to everything I just named even being possible. To see that all come full circle and be inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall Of Fame this past weekend is CRAZY, but also a blessing! Spartan Palace will always and forever be my favorite gym. •3 State Championships in a row. •4 State Championships in 5 years. •20+ players went on to play college basketball. •Top 10 in the nation 3/5 years. •Record of 172-12. Call me anything you want just make sure you say Hall Of Famer at the beginning!

Jeff West is excited to share that two of our senior cheerleaders will continue their cheer career after high school! Both Brianna Bartlett and Katelyn Petesch have been accepted into Baker University and offered Cheer Scholarships for the 2025 school year! Congratulations, girls!

This week our officer team attended Chapter Leadership Training in Concordia. We learned a lot. We worked together to plan our events for the year and also had lots of fun throughout the trip. We toured Bestifor, we learned how they run their equipment and how much land they own and rent. We went fishing and had so much fun!

Run for the health and fun of it!! Run competitively or for fun in the 31st Annual Tiger 5K! Meriden is located on Highway K4 about 7 miles north of Topeka. To get to Meriden from Topeka, take Highway 24 east to K4 and go north. From Lawrence, take Highway 24 west to K4 and go north. The course, which is flat and fast, will wind through the streets of Meriden starting and finishing at the Jefferson West Middle School. An aid station will be at mile 2 and the finish. This course is certified. Morgan Sports from Gladstone, MO will be the timer for this race again this year! ENTRY FEE (includes Tiger 5K shirt): $25 entry fee Schedule: 7am - Packet pickup and late registration 7-7:45am - Walkers may begin 8am - Start of Tiger 5K Run 8:45am - Kids Fun Run 9am - Awards

Jefferson West High School is accepting orders for the "Tiger Walk" to recognize alumni and supporters of the school. You can have your name inscribed on a brick and placed permanently on the Tiger Walk. The walk is in front of the main entrance of the High School. This project not only improves the appearance of our school building, but also improves drainage in that area. It's simple and here's how it works. INDIVIDUALS: This is an opportunity to honor your children, grandchildren, friends, or loved ones no longer with us, by having their name inscribed on a brick permanently placed on the Tiger Walk. The cost is $25.00 for each inscribed brick.
